MIPS 2017 - A Crucial Year for LTPAC Clinicians
Thursday, February 2nd | 1:00pm - 2:00pm ET
45-minute presentation with 15 minutes live Q&A

There's a new acronym in healthcare, and not surprisingly, it's creating a lot of confusion among healthcare clinicians: MIPS. If you are part of a long term/post-acute care medical group, it's almost certain that you will be subject to the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) starting January 1st, 2017.

Join gEHRiMed as we dissect the recently released MIPS Final Rule, and analyze how it will specifically impact long-term care providers. Throughout the series we will share our insights and a strategic approach to optimizing scores in the four elements that compose MIPS: Quality, Advancing Care Information (ACI), Clinical Practice Improvement Activities (CPIA), and Resource Use.

Rod Baird and our Clinical Regulatory Team will walk you through an overview of MIPS and take an in-depth look to explore:

  • Timelines and the associated incentives, penalties, and exemptions
  • LTPAC -specific decision insight through best practices and basic strategies
  • Strategic high-value measures for LTPAC Clinicians
  • Reporting requirements for individuals and groups
